1) Pop Art is based on modern popular culture and the mass media, especially as a critical or ironic comment on traditional fine art values. 2) My artist is Roy LichtensteinIt was considered Pop Art because it was people drawn in a different way but it was very similar to Aaron Siskind’s Pop Art. 3) His Pop Art is mainly the kind you would find in comic books 4) I picked him because he was creating this kind of art at the same time as Aaron Siskind. And I like his art because it’s for comic books and I like super heros. Marvel super hero’s and DC.
